The Lead Employer Trust (LET) team itself is a dedicated group of talented and friendly, 'people professionals' and support staff that are available to ensure that your employment whilst training runs as smoothly as possible. Each specialty has a designated team.

People officers provide generalist advice to trainees and stakeholders in relation to terms and conditions of service. employment law, good employment practice, immigration and policies and procedures. People officers work closely with training programme directors with regards to the operational practicalities of trainees rotating within their training programme. People officers also attend local education provider inductions, specialty training committees, school boards and ARCP panels to provide HR advice.

The payroll team process payments to all employees of the LET, this includes salary, parental leave pay, enhancements, additional duty payments, travel etc. They also deal with all payroll related queries.

We have a small finance team who liaise directly with local education providers to recover salaries and payments made via the LET payroll.

​

In addition we have a small team who monitor employee completion of statutory and mandatory training which employees are required to complete.

​

The LET also manage a regional bank, which allows trainees to work across the region within their specialty and level of competence.
